For this residential project we were assigned a plot of land and we built a house from the ground up. Our house was specifically tailored towards a family and we had no budget. The house could only be one story high, and there was a limited amount of space available to put all of the rooms we needed in. The Conrad’s are the clients that I helped. A single parent family with two children, a boy and a girl. Keeping in mind that children would have the run of the house, practical and durable surfaces were selected throughout the house. Reds, creams, navies, and gold, are used in variety throughout the house, integrated through the fabrics and upholsteries. Plush comfortable furniture makes the house warm and livable, while large windows provide lots of natural lighting. Functional furniture arranged in practical fashions allow for great functionality and aesthetics. All around the house is the perfect setting for this families needs.
